Office of Insular Affairs

Available to the U.S. territories of Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, as well as the freely associated states of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service

U.S. Geological Survey

National Park Service

U.S. Department of Agriculture

Available within the United States and Territories.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Available within the United States and Territories.

National Fish and Wildlife Foundation

Available within the United States and Territories. Projects in Canada, Mexico, and other international areas that host migratory wildlife and other U.S. trust resources (marine mammals, threatened and endangered species, anadromous and marine fish) are also considered.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration

National Science Foundation

Eligible institutions include most colleges, universities, and research institutions, as well as many NGOs. State and federal government agencies cannot apply, although they can participate as unfunded collaborators. EPSCoR support is only available to certain states and territories that have been designated for increased research investment.
